This type of interpreting is used in accompaniment, personal assistance or for small groups. In this interpreting format, the interpreter accompanies a person, simultaneously whispering the translation into their ear, to avoid bothering other attendees not using translation service. It is an interpreting style that can also be offered to small groups of 2-3 people.
